Prior to submitting your application please make sure that you have read and understand the following rules. journals. usernames should be out of character and be free of underscores and numbers.
pbs. all pbs used in this community must be 18+ and within five years of the character age. we ask our members to be respectful when selecting pbs.
bios/info. while we do not require a full bio to be completed at the time of application, we ask that you have the basic facts worked out and include either a blurb or a minimum of four substantial facts about your character before applying.
examples. we require a minimum of one narrative and one scene example. please make sure that your examples are visible to the mods.
please be considerate. we do not tolerate any line crossing, bullying or harrassment in this community. we ask that our members treat each other with respect. for the most part, we try not to referee ic conflicts but if there are issues with another player, please contact the moderators. issues will be addressed on a case by case basis and we will do our best to resolve issues that we can. the mods have the right to reject any application/applicant without providing a reason. rejected applications will be deleted. if you have any questions about any of these rules, please feel free to ask.

β’ You are required to make two posts in every calendar month.note: members added after the 15th of the month are only required to submit one form of activity in addition to their introduction. members added after the 23rd of the month are only required to post their introduction.β’ There are no requirements regarding content, but at least one posts must be interactive/open for comment.while we encourage our members to interact as they see fit, we want to remind everyone that skyview is primarily a journal based game. as such, we ask that all members regularly check and interact on the friends page.
β’ There should be a minimum of three days between posts that are being submitted to fulfill activity requirements.
β’ We expect to see the majority of comments in interactive posts replied to.
β’ We do not currently accept scenes as a form of activity.
activities. in addition to any mod-run activities, we fully encourage our members to also take initiative. post free for alls, create update challenges, get creative! we simply ask that all posts be locked to the community (i.e., no anonymous commenting allowed) and that all members be allowed to participate.
extensions/hiatus. extensions and hiatuses will be offered on a case by case basis. the mods retain the right to refuse an extension or hiatus to anyone they deem to be taking advantage of the system (i.e., frequently forgetting to update, more time spent on hiatus than active in the community, etc.).
friends list please keep your friends list up to date as this will be used to gauge activity. an in-date friends list is defined as having been updated within the last three sets of adds/removals. please do not hide your friends list. if the mods cannot see your friends list, you will be removed.
removals. removals will be done twice a month and judged based on activity requirements and/or having an in-date friends list.
β’ mid-monthly removals will be used to ensure that all members have an in-date friends list.
β’ end of month removals will be based on submitted activity and an in-date friends list.
